This website offers information, help, news and advice about the town of Washington near the city of Sunderland (click here for map). Washington Pride is the name of the community group chaired by Derek Sleightholme. We have 141 members, each member receives agendas and notes of meetings. We have great support from all the Washington Voluntary Sector and the General Public of Washington. Officers and Members of the City Council are invited to attend and discuss the services provide by the council. All are welcome at our meetings.
