brochure

NERAF is an independent peer support charity established to provide long term aftercare and support to those affected by alcohol misuse. Our aim is to set up self-help groups throughout the North East, with drop-ins and a range of activities to suit the service user.

We provide support in group sessions or via our unique 1-2-1 mentoring service. We provide training in specialist alcohol mentoring & alcohol awareness.

NERAF was set up and is run by people that have previously, been affected by addiction to alcohol. We highlight the dangers & health risks of misusing alcohol and, at the same time tell you that if you treat alcohol with respect & drink safely then none of the health risks should affect you. Give alcohol the same respect you would give to prescription or other over the counter drugs.

NERAF in Washington = 1-3pm. NECA, Speculation Place, Concord, NE37 2AL. Informal drop in and cuppa!
