Sunderland Carers' Centre offers a confidential information, advice and support services to carers throughout the CIty of Sunderland (including Washington, Houghton-le-Spring and Easington Lane). A carer is someone who looks after a family member, partner, freind or neighbour who due to illness, disability, frailty, or addiction is unable to manage alone. If you cannot come to the centre staff can visit carers at home or another suitable place. If carers work during the day someone will also be able to meet them after 5.00pm.

  Sunderland CVS is a registered charity (no. 702930) and Company Limited by Guarantee (Company No:1759477). Established in 1973 to support and develop voluntary and community groups throughout the City of Sunderland and surrounding areas. Sunderland CVS provides information and guidance on funding, financial management, committee roles and responsibilities as well as advice on policies, procedures and legal requirements to support local voluntary and community groups and set new groups up. It also provides training on issues required in the voluntary and community sector.
